Quality ingredients you can trust
The constitution of our Wild Salmon Fishcakes is mostly salmon…which should come as no great surprise. It makes up 70% of the overall recipe. To ensure we hit the complete food quota, we added sweet potato, banana and apples to add flavour and balance. Check out the details on the product page for the full ingredient list.
Why do you add bananas to salmon fish dog food?
Bananas are a good natural source of potassium, vitamin B6 and vitamin C for dogs. We add a small amount to this recipe to give your dog a fully rounded meal. If you want to give your dog bananas in their natural form, you should do so in moderation and relative to your dog's size.
Salmon provides Omega-3 for dogs
Has your dog had salmon protein before? If not, it’s a great source of Omega-3 fatty acids. These can support your dog’s immune system; they could improve joint health, potentially decrease inflammation, and, theoretically, keep their coat shiny and healthy.
In addition, salmon also provides Omega-6 fatty acids, which help with similar attributes while promoting skin health.

Wild Salmon Fishcakes is a single protein, grain free complete air dried food for adult dogs and puppies from eight weeks.
What is air-dried dog food?

Transitioning to our food
If you’re transitioning to our Air-Dried Wild Salmon Fishcakes from another brand, we recommend phasing out the old food over 4-5 days. Replacing 20% of the old food daily with ours will aid the process. Act cautiously if your dog is susceptible to adverse health from diet changes.
