We make all our meals and treats with only the finest ingredients and high-protein quantities. The Innocent Cat Chicken & Duck Slices with Catnip are made with 40% British chicken and another 40% British duck, making for a high-protein composition. We also include a smattering of catnip to add a sense of indulgence.  

How do you make these treats?

We make all our products on-site in our Yorkshire-based factory, including all variations of cat food and cat treats. Here is a brief overview of the process:

·       The high-quality meats and other ingredients arrive at our facility.

·       Our expert production teams size and shape the food, forming the desired format for any given product.

·        The raw articles are placed in our bespoke air-drying units. Here, the meat is exposed to low heat, slight humidity, and consistent airflow, which air–dries the product.

·       Active Water levels are monitored until they reach the necessary reading, at this point, the microorganisms and bacteria will no longer pose a threat.

So why should you feed your cat chicken? Firstly, most cats find this protein delicious! Nutritionally speaking, chicken contains essential amino acids, which, together with the protein, help support muscles, keep their coat shiny, and keep their immune system efficient.

Why should your cat eat duck?

While not the most popular protein for cats or humans, duck meat has some substantial benefits for cats. It contains B vitamins, niacin, pyridoxine, zinc, and selenium, which support the immune system and overall health.

Is this defined as cat food raw?

The meat arrives at our factory as raw meat. It is then air-dried and we have no cook or kill step. It can be consumed as a raw cat food diet.

Are the treats grain-free?

Absolutely. Like all our products, these treats are grain-free and ideal for cats with sensitive stomachs or grain intolerances. Only quality ingredients go into our cat food bowl!

When do cat treats expire?

Our cat treats (like most of our products) have a year from the date of production shelf life. They should be stored at a cool temperature and in a dark place when opened. Well-kept products will remain fresh for up to eight weeks.

Yes, we know why cats love fish meals and have both food and treat options for those inclined.
