Holiday Bucket List to do with your Hound
Posted by Phoebe Mason on
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas ...Why not create some holiday traditions that your pets can get involved with this year!
Bake a dog friendly Christmas cake
We're sure your hound has made the nice list this year, so they must deserve their own festive cake. Our simple easy-to make cake mix is made with air-dried British duck and cranberry, and only needs you to add eggs and water. You can then decorate with all your hounds' favourite treats! Our hounds' favourites are cream cheese and venison sausages.
Take some festive themed photos
Need a photo for the family Christmas card? Dogs are treasured members of the family so could be the face of your greeting cards this December! Christmas is a time for making memories, so don't forget the hounds in the family portrait.
Christmas treasure hunt
Hide yummy treats around the house and garden, creating a trail for your dog to explore. Paw-fect enrichment to get that brain working and tail wagging.
Winter walkies
Get some fresh air with a crisp morning walk or you could plan a route that passes decorated houses so you and your pup can admire the Christmas lights together in the evening. Just remember to wipe those paws off afterwards in case there was any de-icer or grit on the pavements.
Tuck into a Christmas Dinner
Eating Christmas dinner around the table is a central point in the festive season and whilst our pets shouldn't really eat human food, we have created an air-dried Christmas Dinner feast, so your dog doesn't miss out on the fun.
Whether your hound is on the naughty, or nice list, this festive season, don't forget to tag us on social media using the hashtag #myinnocenthound.
